The Mission Statement of the Michiana Fil-Am Seventh-day Adventist Church

The mission of the Michiana Fil-Am Seventh-day Adventist Church, empowered by Jesus Christ, is to share the three angels' messages to the various ethnic groups as mandated by the Gospel Commission and to nurture them in preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ, our personal savior.

The Objectives of the Michiana Fil-Am Seventh-day Adventist Church

Up-reach
  1. To emphasize that every member develop a daily personal devotional life with God through prayer, Bible reading and study, etc.
  2. To provide, through corporate worship, an uplifting, inspiring experience that cultivates a spirit of praise to a great and awsome Creator God.
In-reach
  1. To mentor and provide training for leadership in the church through various activities, i.e., Teen Leadership Training of Pathfinders, Lay Bible Ministry Training courses, Sabbath School workshops, and young adult training courses.
  2. To enable all members to engage in active involvement and participation in church activities in a Filipino-American setting.
Out-reach
  1. To establish a communication network which will recruit students with a Filipino heritage, and their families, to move to this area to get a Christian education at Andrews University while providing a family atmosphere and accommodation as needed.
  2. To reach out with the love of Jesus Christ to meet the needs of the Filipinos and other people in the community by utilizing the talents, gifts, and resources of the members.
